Servings: 24 poppers
- 12 jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese blend
- ½ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- ¼ cup sliced green onions
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- 12 slices bacon cut in half
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top. Set aside.
Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and use a spoon to remove the seeds and membranes.
In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, green onions, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until well combined.
Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
Wrap each filled jalapeño with half a slice of bacon and place it on the prepared wire rack. Repeat with the remaining jalapeños and bacon.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy. For extra-crispy bacon, broil on high for the last 2 minutes, keeping a close eye on them.
