Christmas Lights Chocolate Covered Strawberries

These Christmas lights chocolate covered strawberries are as fun to make as they are to eat! Fresh strawberries are dipped in smooth milk and white chocolate, then drizzled with green chocolate “wires” and dotted with mini red and green M&M “bulbs” to look just like a string of Christmas lights. They’re festive, easy, and perfect for gifting, dessert platters, or adding a little sparkle to your holiday table.

Course: Dessert
Servings: 12 strawberries

Ingredients

  • 12 fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup milk chocolate melting wafers
  • 1 cup white chocolate melting wafers
  • ½ cup green chocolate melting wafers
  • ¼ cup mini red and green M&Ms

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  • Melt the milk and white chocolate in separate microwave-safe bowls in 30-second bursts, stirring in between until smooth and glossy.
  • Dip half of the strawberries in white chocolate and the other half in milk chocolate, coating each one evenly up to the stem.
  • Set the dipped strawberries on the prepared baking sheet and let them harden at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  • Melt the green chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl (again, 30-second intervals work best) and stir until smooth. Drizzle it over the strawberries to look like strands of Christmas lights.
  • Before the drizzle sets, press mini red and green M&M’s along the green “wires” to look like little glowing bulbs.
  • Let the strawberries set for another 10 minutes or so, until the chocolate is completely hardened and ready to serve.
