Ingredients

  • 2 7.8 oz cans refrigerated pizza crust
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 ½ cups pizza sauce
  • 20 pepperoni slices
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  • Prep the base: Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Shape the tree: Unroll both pizza crusts and stack them on top of each other. Cut into a large triangle shape (think Christmas tree), then gently separate the two layers.
  • Add the filling: Place one dough triangle on your baking sheet. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the surface, then sprinkle on mozzarella and layer with pepperoni slices.
  • Seal it up: Top with the second dough triangle and press lightly around the edges to seal.
  • Make the branches: Using a sharp knife, cut horizontal slits about 1 ½ inches apart on both sides of the triangle, leaving a strip down the center for the “trunk.” Twist each strip a few times to create branches.
  • Add the buttery goodness: Melt the butter in a small bowl, then stir in garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush it all over the dough for that golden, flavorful finish.
  • Bake and serve: Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden and baked through. Sprinkle with Parmesan and fresh basil before serving — then stand back and admire your masterpiece before it disappears!
