Crockpot Cheesy Bacon Ranch Potatoes
Tender, buttery potatoes slow-cooked with bacon, ranch seasoning, and melty cheese. This easy crockpot side dish is packed with flavor and perfect for family dinners, holidays, or feeding a crowd.

- 3 lb baby red potatoes halved
- 1 onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 8-10 slices bacon cooked and chopped
- 1 oz envelope ranch seasoning mix
- 1 ½ cups shredded colby jack cheese divided
- ¾ stick butter 6 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions or chives for topping
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until crisp. Transfer to a plate, then chop into smaller pieces.
Lightly grease the inside of your crockpot, then add the potatoes, onion, garlic, and chopped bacon.
Sprinkle over the ranch seasoning, add 1 cup of the cheese, and top with the butter, salt, and pepper.
Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the potatoes are fork tender.
Give everything a good stir, then sprinkle over the remaining ½ cup of cheese. Cover again for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.
Finish with green onions before serving.
