Crockpot Chocolate Cobbler
Warm, gooey, and ridiculously chocolatey, this Crockpot Chocolate Cobbler is a hands-off dessert that feels straight out of a diner — only better. The batter bakes up into a soft cake on top with a molten fudge sauce underneath (like a self-saucing pudding, but easier). Serve it straight from the crockpot with vanilla ice cream and watch it disappear in minutes.

Servings: 8
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 3 cups boiling water
- 3 ½ cups white granulated sugar
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup melted salted butter
- 6 tablespoons + ½ cup cocoa Powder divided
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Vanilla ice cream optional garnish
Mix the base: Add all of the ingredients to your crockpot — except for the 2 cups of sugar and ½ cup of cocoa powder — and stir until everything’s smooth and well combined.
Make the topping: In a separate bowl, mix together the remaining sugar and cocoa powder. This magic mix will become that gooey, fudgy sauce layer underneath.
Add the topping: Evenly sprinkle the sugar-cocoa mixture over the batter in the crockpot — don’t stir it in! Just let it sit right on top.
Let it cook: Cover and cook on high for 3–4 hours, until the top looks set and firm but there’s still molten chocolate goodness underneath.
Serve and enjoy: Spoon it up warm and gooey with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top.
