Ingredients

  • 3 lbs sirloin steak cut into bite-sized chunks
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil to sear beef
  • 6 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 stick butter 8 tablespoons
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley for topping

Instructions

  • Season the steak pieces with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Sear the steak bites for 2–3 minutes on each side, just until browned — no need to cook them through. Transfer the seared steak to your crockpot.
  • Add the garlic and butter right on top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the steak is tender and infused with all that garlicky butter flavor.
  • Give it a good stir before serving and top with a sprinkle of fresh parsley for a little color (and freshness).
