Ingredients

  • 3 lbs boneless & skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder evenly over the chicken.
  • Pour the chicken broth over the top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.
  • Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks.
  • Stir the shredded chicken back into the cooking juices so it stays moist and flavorful.
  • Serve on brioche buns, or use the chicken for meal prep. Add BBQ sauce if you like and garnish with parsley before serving.
