Halloween Monster Meatball Sliders

These spooky sliders are the ultimate Halloween party food! Juicy meatballs are simmered in marinara, tucked into soft slider buns, and decorated with mozzarella “monster teeth” and olive “eyeballs.” They’re fun to assemble, easy to eat, and guaranteed to get some laughs (and maybe a few shrieks). Perfect for parties, trick-or-treat night, or a festive fall dinner with the kids.

Ingredients

  • 6 slider buns
  • 16 oz bag frozen fully-cooked meatballs approx 18 small meatballs
  • 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce half a jar
  • 3 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 12 sliced black olives

Instructions

  • Warm the meatballs in a saucepan over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Add the spaghetti sauce, turn the heat down to medium-low, and let everything simmer together until the meatballs are hot and saucy.
  • While that’s heating up, cut your mozzarella slices in half, then cut each half into little triangles—these are your monster teeth.
  • To assemble, place three saucy meatballs on the bottom half of each slider bun. Add two mozzarella triangles for teeth, then pop the top bun on.
  • For the eyes, stick a toothpick through each olive and place them on top of the buns so they look like little monster eyes staring at you.
  • That’s it! Repeat for the rest of the sliders, serve them up, and watch them disappear!
