Crockpot Pizza Dip
I’ve got a brand new crockpot party food recipe for you today, and this creamy, cheesy, bubbly pizza dip is going to be the first thing to fly off the table next time you’re entertaining or hosting a crowd!
It starts with a creamy base of whipped cream cheese, sour cream, and plenty of mozzarella, all seasoned with garlic and oregano. That gets layered with pizza sauce, more cheese, and pepperoni, then slow cooked until it’s all the best parts of a pizza, just in scoopable form. It’s easy, it’s fun, and it’s so delicious.
By the way, I think you’ll also love my crockpot buffalo chicken dip, crockpot bacon cheeseburger dip, crockpot crab dip, crockpot queso dip, crockpot Mexican street corn dip, and crockpot jalapeño popper dip!

Ingredients
Please note that I’ve included a printable recipe card for you at the bottom of this post, complete with ingredients and instructions so you can save it to your recipe folder at home!
-
Sour cream: Adds tang and keeps the base creamy without feeling too heavy.
-
Cream cheese: The rich, smooth foundation of the dip. Make sure it’s softened so it blends easily.
-
Garlic powder: Brings classic pizza flavor without overpowering the dip.
-
Salt: Enhances all the cheesy, savory flavors.
-
Dried oregano: Gives that unmistakable pizza seasoning vibe.
-
Mozzarella (divided): Melts beautifully. Some goes into the creamy base, and the rest creates that gooey, bubbly top layer.
-
Parmesan: Adds sharpness and depth to balance the richness.
-
Pizza sauce: Brings sweetness and tomato flavor. Use your favorite brand.
-
Mini pepperonis: Classic pizza topping that crisps slightly on top.
-
Fresh basil: Adds brightness and a little freshness right before serving.

How To Make Crockpot Pizza Dip
-
In a large bowl, beat together the sour cream, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, oregano, 2 cups of mozzarella, and the Parmesan until smooth and creamy. Spread the mixture evenly into a 6-quart slow cooker.

-
Spoon the pizza sauce right over the top and gently spread it into an even layer.

-
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the sauce, then add the pepperoni on top.

-
Cover and cook on HIGH for about 2 hours, until hot and bubbly.
-
Sprinkle with chopped fresh basil just before serving. Serve warm with sliced baguette, chips, or crackers for dipping.

Storage
Store leftover pizza dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2–3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or oven until warm and melty again. It’s just as good the next day, if there’s any left!

Recipe Notes
You can cook this on LOW for about 4 hours if that works better for your schedule.
Keep an eye on it toward the end. You may not need the full 2 hours on high! Once everything is hot, creamy, and fully melted, it’s ready.
You can transfer the dip to a serving bowl if you prefer, but it won’t look quite as pretty as it does in the slow cooker. If you do move it, sprinkle a little extra cheese, pepperoni, and fresh basil on top to freshen it up.

Variations
You can really have fun with this one and treat it like your favorite pizza! Add cooked Italian sausage, crispy bacon, or diced ham for a meat-lovers version. Stir in sautéed mushrooms, olives, or bell peppers if you’re more of a veggie pizza person.
If you like a little heat, sprinkle in red pepper flakes or add sliced jalapeños on top before cooking. You could even mix in a handful of shredded provolone for extra cheesy stretch.
Serving Ideas
Serve this crockpot pizza dip warm and bubbly with sliced baguette, breadsticks, tortilla chips, or sturdy crackers for dipping. It’s perfect for game day, movie night, or anytime you need something easy that feels a little indulgent.
You can also set out sliced veggies like bell peppers or celery if you want a lighter option alongside the bread. Just put it in the middle of the table and let everyone dig in!
