Free Printable Halloween Cupcake Toppers!
Baking up some spooky treats? Add a little extra Halloween flair with these free printable cupcake toppers! They’re perfect for Halloween parties, trick-or-treat day snacks, school celebrations, or just a cozy weekend baking session at home. I created them as a fun project to try with my little girl when we were baking some boxed cakes (because I love the occasional short cut!), and I thought that you guys might like to try them out for yourselves at home. They were a big hit with my family, and I plan to reuse them a couple of times before spooky season is over!
These easy-to-use toppers feature classic Halloween designs like ghosts, eyeballs, and pumpkins. Just download the printable, cut them out, and attach them to cocktail sticks or toothpicks for an instant upgrade to any cupcake, muffin, or spooky snack.
No fancy tools or crafting skills needed. Just a printer, scissors, and something sweet to stick them in!
Please note that you’ll find the free printable at the end of this post, along with clear instructions on how to download and use it!
(Oh, and if you’re looking for ideas for sweet treats to make this Halloween, take a look at my pumpkin cookies, bandaid cookies, ghost cornflake and peanut butter cookies, and spooky sugar cookies).

2. Print at home
For best results, print on white cardstock or thick paper so the toppers hold their shape when standing in frosting. Make sure to print at 100% scale (not “fit to page”) to keep the sizing just right for standard cupcakes.
3. Cut them out
Use scissors or a circle/shape cutter to carefully cut around each design. You can leave a little white border or trim close to the edge—whatever look you like best.
4. Attach to sticks
Use tape, glue dots, or a dab of glue to attach each topper to a toothpick, cocktail stick, or lollipop stick. Let dry if needed before sticking them into cupcakes or other Halloween treats.
5. Use them anywhere!
They’re perfect for:
-
Halloween party cupcakes
-
Classroom snacks
-
Spooky muffin trays
-
Halloween charcuterie boards (yes, really!)
-
Decorating sandwich picks or treat bags
