I’ve had my Ninja Creami for almost a year now, and I’ll admit that I was initially a bit skeptical about how much it would actually get used. I’ve got more kitchen gadgets gathering dust in the back of my cupboards than I’d like to admit, and I worried this one might go the same way. This is the kind of classic vanilla base every Creami fan should have in their back pocket! It’s simple, dependable, and anything but boring. Plus it doubles as the perfect canvas for endless mix-ins! This one is the recipe that I make most often, and it’s just so delicious. 

Makes: 1 tub

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • â…” cup confectioners’ sugar

  • Seeds from 2 vanilla pods or 1–1½ teaspoons vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  • Split the vanilla pods lengthwise and scrape out the seeds.
  • Add the vanilla seeds (or extract), milk, heavy cream, confectioners’ sugar, and salt to a mixing jug.
  • Whisk until the sugar is fully dissolved and the vanilla is evenly dispersed.
  • Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami pint container. Secure the lid and freeze for 24 hours on a level surface.
  • The next day, remove the pint from the freezer.
  • Place it into the Ninja Creami and run the Ice Cream cycle.
  • If the texture looks crumbly, add 1–2 tablespoons of milk to the center and press Mix-In once.

There’s something about cookies & cream that never stops being satisfying. This version hits all the familiar notes — creamy base, crunchy cookie bits — and the Creami brings it together in the smoothest way.

Makes: 1 tub

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • ¾ cup heavy cream

  • â…” cup confectioners’ sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 6 Oreo cookies, roughly crushed

Instructions:

  • In a jug or small bowl, whisk together the whole milk, heavy cream, confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar has fully dissolved.
  • Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami pint container, stopping just below the fill line.
  • Freeze on a completely flat surface for 24 hours, until fully solid.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • ¾ cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup full-fat cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries, divided

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries

  • 1 cup cottage cheese

  • ¼ cup milk

  • 3 tablespoons caster sugar

  • Optional: extra sugar or vanilla extract to taste

  • Optional toppings: fresh strawberries, strawberry sauce

Instructions:

  • Add the sliced strawberries and caster sugar to a bowl. Roughly mash with a fork, stir, and let sit for 5 minutes so the juices release.
