At first glance, you’d never guess that this Jammie Dodger cheesecake could be slimming friendly! 

Though your typical cheesecake recipes include a ton of biscuits, butter, full fat soft cheese, and double cream, we’ve made a few smart substitutes here that ensure you can indeed have your cake and eat it, without falling off your slimming plan.

How many calories are in this recipe? 

There are approximately 312 calories in half a cheesecake.

This is a generous serving, and if you have a smaller appetite or you’re looking for snack ideas, you might want to consider cutting your cheesecake into 3 or 4 servings instead. Of course, if you do this, then you’ll need to alter the nutritional values accordingly. 

But how many calories do you need a day? 

Well, the average man needs to consume around 2,500 calories a day in order to maintain a healthy body weight.

For the average woman, it’s around 2,000 calories a day.

If you’re aiming to lose weight, you’ll want to consume less than this to ensure that you’re in a calorie deficit and help you to reach your goals!

Jammie Dodger Cheesecake

This jammie dodger cheesecake is slimming friendly, and is a lifesaver when you fancy something sweet whilst sticking to plan!

Ingredients

  • 2 Alpen Strawberry & Yoghurt bars
  • 2 pots Lindahls Raspberry Kvarg
  • 5 Laughing Cow Extra Light Cheese Triangles
  • 4 Jammie Dodger mini biscuits
  • 5-6 strawberries
  • 1 tsp strawberry or raspberry coulis

Instructions

  • Blitz the Alpen bars in a food processor, or break up into very small pieces with a fork. Add a splash of water and mix well.
  • Put the Alpen mixture into the tin, and use the back of a spoon to push down well, to form your cheesecake base.
  • In a bowl, add the raspberry kvarg and cheese triangles, and mix well to form a smooth consistency.
  • Cut the strawberries in half, and arrange them around the outside of the tin, so the cut side is facing outwards.
  • Add the raspberry kvarg and cheese triangle mixture to the tin, using a spoon to push it into gaps around the strawberries. Create a flat top with a pallet knife.
  • Put your cheesecake in the fridge and allow to cool for at least a few hours, but preferably overnight.
  • Remove cheesecake from the fridge and gently remove from the tin.
  • Decorate with the Jammie Dodgers, and spoon over the coulis.
  • Serve and enjoy!
