Bored of beans? Sick of cereal? These Slimming World garlic mushrooms on toast are creamy and delicious, and are a great choice if you want to shake up breakfast time.

They can also be ready in less than 15 minutes, so you won’t be spending too much of your valuable morning time slaving over a hot stove.

They’re a meal in their own right so you don’t have to worry about whipping up any side dishes. If you’re feeling particularly hungry though, add a leafy green salad or even a freshly poached egg.

Of course, they’re also suitable for a light lunch if you’re lucky enough to have access to a hob in the middle of the day!

Do you really need to use quark?!

I absolutely love cooking with quark.

It’s versatile, it’s exceptionally slimming friendly, and it can bring a lovely creamy consistency to your recipes.

I do appreciate though that it’s something that lots of people aren’t particularly familiar with, and you might be feeling a bit dubious about it if you haven’t used it before.

My advice though is to give it a go. It’ll open up a whole host of new menu options, and I think you’ll be really pleasantly surprised at just how good these creamy garlic mushrooms on toast turn out.

You can pick it up in most supermarkets, usually near the cheese.
